The county´s main town Bergisch Gladbach invites you to the theatre and museums as well as to visit the sights. At the "Bürgerhaus Bergischer Löwe" a number of plays are performed by well-known actors an actresses in this theatre.

The Rhine-land Industry Museum, Paper Mill "Alte Dombach" presents the manufacture of paper. The Rhine Museum of Mining, LocalTrades and Business the topics of Timber-framed houses, life at home, the manufacture of textiles as well as the mining of ore in Bensberg are dealt with. There are also many other trades exhibited in museums throughout the "Bergisches Land". There are a number of castles and fortresses in this area, too, which can be visited for the most part, for example "Schloss Burg" on the river "Wupper".
